What to do when happy and free
Being happy and free is a blessing, many don't have this opportunity in their life. So whenever a busy person, got this opportunity they get excited and sometimes even tense, because they can't believe themselves in such situations. So it take patient and deep thinking to enjoy these moments in life. So I will share some do's and don’t for such joyful time.
Do's
- Talk to your spouse
- Talking with your spouse when you are happy and free will improve your relation and build strong bond of love. That will be much more powerful than the time spent with your spouse on even holidays or vacation. Have some funny chit chat, just remember don’t ruin this time with unnecessary arguments.
- Play with children
- Playing with your growing children is an gift, many parents did not have due to their busy and hectic lifestyle. So play with them, eat with them, understand their thought process, maintain your happiness and transfer that happiness to your family as well.
- Take deep sleep
- You can also take a deep sleep, because sleep you get after stressful day and sleep you get in happy mood without any worry, no pending work, that sleep is fulfilling and more healing then any medicine.
- Watch inspirational movie
- Watching an movie inspired for greater self can be useful.
- Checkout your photo albums
- Photo albums are a great way to keep the happy memories alive for longer. Get your family albums and start remembering those sweet moments of life to add extra to your happiness.
- Eat
- Eat something you love to further enhance your joy of freedom. Have some tea or coffee.
- Follow your hobby
- Hobby is always a pleasurable activities which we do whenever there is free time. It amplifies happiness and boost productivity. If you are singer, then start singing, if you are writer, then start writing about your happiness and if you love play some music instrument like guitar, piano then rehearse that with full solitude.
- Read books
- Reading books can be very helpful in maintaining your happiness and acquiring new insights depending upon the book type you are reading.
- Don'ts
- Stay away from social media
- If you are happy and free, then don’t ruin that moments by switching to any social media apps, social media is psychologically designed to be negative. I would rather call it a fake society. Because everyone is different and you never know when social media platforms will shift to depressing content and as you watch more, you keep on drowning to negativity. On social media, either you may found depressing content or luxury life of your friends and known, luxury life of others causes person to start comparison and once it is started you are no more happy and free. You will starting finding more ways to achieve that happiness, you just ruined now.
- Don't check your finances
- Finances can be worrying for majority of people, so if you know that your finances are not that good, don’t turn that page.
- Don't drink
- Many person like to have drink whenever they are happy or sad. Drinking will take your senses off and you can't enjoy that happiness any more.
- Don't watch news or read newspaper
- World is changing rapidly, so a lots of good and bad is happening across the societies, countries. Every news can not positive, majority of news are discussing the problems in society to find their solution through public opinion or panel of experts. But none of the problem get solved during that discussion, even that problem propagates to other society as well. So I would personally suggest to avoid such activity and enjoy you solitude.
These are some of the way to celebrate your happiness, there could be many more ways you may be already practicing.
